I was watching Odysseus and his men sail to the island of the Cyclopes. "I remember back in the day when the Cyclops gave me my wonderful thunderbolt. It is my prized possession and I am very grateful for it!" I feel like I should have warned the Cyclops about Odysseus and his men, but it is too late. As I watch, I see that Odysseus is plundering in the Cyclops cave. "I should throw down a strike of lightning and fry him on the spot!" I know my brother, Poseidon, would feel the same as I do being that the Cyclops is his son. As I get more angered I see the Cyclops closing in on Odysseus and his men. Odysseus is fooling the Cyclops by giving him the wrong name. He is also giving the Cyclops wine and making him tired. "What kind of games is Odysseus trying to get away with!" Odysseus and his men struggle to try and find a plan to get away from the Cyclops. So they are making a dagger to stab him in his only eye. "It sickens me to see Odysseus doing such a harmful thing to the Cyclops who helps a lot of people." Once they harm the Cyclops they finally get away as the Cyclops yells. When the other Cyclopes hear him yelling they run to him and ask what happened and who did it. The Cyclops told them "Nohbody!" I am tired of seeing stuff that Odysseus is doing. I am going to make it difficult for him and his men to get away. As god of the sky I am going to make a strong storm and make him pay for what he did. I will tell my brother, Poseidon, what is happening and together we can make sure Odysseus doesn't make it home safe. In the second that it took for me to throw a thunderbolt on them, now I see them struggling to get away. As my brother makes a whirlpool all of Odysseus' men won't make it out safe. Odysseus is now alone and washing up on the shores of Calypso. I think this is a good enough punishment for what Odysseus and his men have done to the Cyclops. This also goes a long with my plan to emotionally hurt Calypso. Another job well done from my brother and I.
